why is Our Media Related To The Issue?
Nowadays, children don't want to read folktales any longer because it's old and boring. So, reader’s about folktales are decreasing. Actually, each folktale that we read have morals that builds our character. Through multimedia, we want to promote the folktales that are not known by many people, so people can read more traditional folktales and we want to prove that traditional folktales are fun to read. Folktales are not just educational, they can build our characters! also, we promote the folktales by using this application called comic life. in this application, we took pictures of ourselves dressed up as characters to make 2 stories so people can read it. We hope that our comic can make our readers want to read more traditional folktales
What is Multimedia?
First, before knowing about multimedia in details, you need to know what media is. Media is something that can be heard, seen like text, pictures, music, sound, etc. Multimedia is a media that uses a combination of different media. . Multimedia uses a combination of text, audio, still images, animation, video and interactivity. An example of multimedia is the radio. Did you know in the old days, people always used radios, televisions, and hand phones? Did you know that back in the days, televisions did not have any sound at all? And did you know that back then, the hand phones were only for calling ?
Another examples of Multimedia are The televisions (modern), computers, hand phones, radios, games, magazines and many more. These technology devices have something in common. They have two or more media. But, the device that has the most media is the computer. The computer consists of sounds, pictures, musics, texts and more. Even now, we can hear radio, watch movies from the computer.

Multimedia can be anything. Also, multimedia is everywhere that surrounds us. “Multimedia always can be changed and be improved every time” said Ibu AdrianI (as interviewed). Multimedia can also be like a Broadway show. Almost everything is considered as multimedia. Multimedia can be found in electronic devices.

History of multimedia

He discovered electricity and now everybody has many more new inventions created, Thomas Alfa Edison invented the light bulb and Charles Babbage invented the first computer. The electricity was invented in 1780. Several months later the telephone was invented. After the telephone was invented, the hand phone followed.
Actually the history of the hand phone is really great. The first generation of hand phones were just to call up friends and family. Then, the second generation of hand phone was invented. Now, it can be used for calling friends and can send test messages to people. Nowadays, the hand phone has been even more developed. We are in the 3.5 generation. For us, we are thankful. Since then, the multimedia has developed even greater and thanks to the people who managed that.

One of the experts name is Ibu Adriani, Ibu Adriani is the expert of multimedia and is a very talented and creative person. She works at Binus. But, people at various companies are also talented, creative are an expert at the multimedia section.

4. The next step happens when the packets get to you and it’s like putting up a jigsaw puzzle together. The result is the content in the website will open and you are able to read, see, hear, and do other things with the contents.
